Coletta M. Boyle, MSN ARNP

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

Coletta Boyle is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who completed her Advanced Practice degree in nursing at the University of Tampa. She is Nationally Certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.

Coletta’s life has revolved around community service during her formative years, and caring for people has continued to be part of her adult life. She received her Bachelor of Science from Barry College in Miami, Fl and her Masters of Science from The University of Tampa. She raised her family in Venice and was active in her children’s schools, and many various community activities.

Coletta was born in Oklahoma, but moved to the Sarasota area as a young child. She grew up in a large family (and getting larger) that still enjoys being together, and working together in the family business, Tropic Enterprises, Inc. Coletta spent many years in her family business, proving that women can be successful in the business world. Working in nursing for decades, Coletta has been involved in most aspects of patient well-being, willing to participate in any function that will aid the team effort to enhance patient care. “However, being responsible for my actions, a resource person for my co-workers and a mentor/leader to students on rotation in my department, is all a large part of my personality, and enhances the outcomes for patient care.” Coletta retired as the Vice President of Tropic, and decided to return to her true calling - caring for people through nursing.

Coletta has had a diverse nursing career. Most recently she has worked at Venice Regional Medical Center in the Ambulatory Care Unit. that has included critical care nursing l in Elizabeth, NJ; the Ambulatory Surgical Unit at Englewood Community Hospital in Englewood; ophthalmic and plastic surgery nursing at The Center for Advanced Eye Surgery for seven years; and the Ambulatory Care Unit at Venice Regional Hospital in Venice from 2005 until joining RTR Urology in 2011. Coletta completed her ARNP while working at Venice Regional Hospital.

When asked to join the team of RTR Urology, Coletta was excited to join a practice where the physicians have a genuine interest in their patients, providing state-of-the-art Urology care, and enjoy sharing and expanding their knowledge.

When Coletta is not working, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, boating, gardening and traveling.
